Horseback Riding Lessons

Giant City Stables offers group and private horseback riding lessons for English and Western riding disciplines. Our lead instructor, Ramona Twellman, has over 30 years of teaching experience. She is also a Path certified riding instructor and International Society of Rider Biomechanics Coach.
We can help you:
- Improve your seat by focusing on posture, balance, purity of gate, and developing your skills for rising (posting) trot and sitting the canter.
- Flat work to improve your horse’s straightness, flexibility, yielding to pressure (leg yields), upward/downward transitions, leads and lead changes.
- Improve your relationship with your horse and yourself to make you a safe and confident rider.
Lessons are available to the general public. You may use your own horse or a lesson horse that matches you riding ability will be provided for you. Individuals who choose to participate in our lesson program must have the ability to follow and execute oral instructions.
Private Lessons
1 Hour: $65 per person
Semi Private Lessons
1 Hour: $59 per person
Group Lesson (4-6 Students per Class)
1 Hour: $52 per person
