Giant City Stables offers guided trail rides in Giant City State Park

Giant City Stables 722 Giant City Road Makanda, IL 62958 618 529-4110 Located in the heart of Giant City State Park, just 10 miles south of Rt 13 (Carbondale) on Giant City Road, Giant City Stables offers guided trail rides, as well as a variety of summer horse camps and horseback riding lessons for groups and individuals. For our younger horse lovers, we offer pony rides. We also offer horse leasing! Think of Giant City Stables to host your special events for horse lovers of all ages-birthday parties or any other special occasion. Girl Scouts can earn their Horse Lovers Badge, and Boy Scouts can earn their Merit Badge at Giant City Stables under the guidance of an accredited counselor.
